1. Accessibility Goal
Bandhdelta Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring that our digital presence is accessible to the widest possible audience. We recognise that accessibility is a continuous process of improvement. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience for engineers, designers, and private clients in Brisbane and across Australia, ensuring that the technical details of our 3D printing services are available to all users, including those using assistive technologies.
2. Standards and Compliance
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities. Our approach is aligned with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth), ensuring that our digital services do not create unfair barriers to access.
3. Implemented Features
To enhance the user experience for all visitors, we have integrated the following technical measures:
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including the service menu and contact forms, are fully reachable via the Tab key.
- Skip-Links: A dedicated skip-link is provided at the top of every page to allow screen reader users to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the main content.
- Contrast and Visuals: We use high-contrast colour palettes (as defined in our brand guidelines) to ensure text readability. All illustrative photos include descriptive alt-text.
- Reduced Motion: We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting, disabling non-essential animations for users with vestibular disorders. - Semantic Structure: We use a strict heading hierarchy (h1 through h4) to ensure screen readers can navigate the page logic efficiently.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully optimised. We are currently reviewing the accessibility of complex pricing tables on our Services hub to ensure they are perfectly interpreted by all screen reader versions. We are also auditing our 3D modelling guides to ensure all technical diagrams have sufficient text alternatives.
5. Feedback and Contact
If you encounter any accessibility issues or require information in an alternative format, please contact us. We will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours, as per our business rules.
